Rail

The nearest station is at Knucklas on the Heart of Wales line. Please note that Knucklas Station is a request stop. Click here to see facilities at the station.  There are four trains a day, Monday to Saturday, from Swansea to Shrewsbury calling at Knucklas at 0724, 1208, 1607 and 2108. Similarly there are four trains a day from Shrewsbury to Swansea calling at Knucklas at 0617, 1002, 1503 and 1902. On On Sundays there are two trains each way, calling from Swansea at 1413 and 1826 and from Shrewsbury at 1303 and 1722.

Buses

Lloyney is served by bus route 41 operated by Veolia Transport, Cymru with a service to Knighton. Some services are extended to Kington and Newtown. Click here for a full timetable. Owen Motors operate a service to Newtown on Tuesdays. It leaves Knighton Bus Station at 0925 and calls at Knucklas Castle Inn 0932, Lloyney Inn 0937, Dutlas Kiosk 0945, Beguildy Radnorshire Arms 0950 arriving at Newtown Bus Station at 1030. The return journey leaves Newtown Bus Station at 1430 calling at Beguildy Radnorshire Arms 1510, Dutlas Kiosk 1515, Lloyney Inn 1523, Knucklas Castle Inn 1528 and arriving at Knighton Bus Station at 1535.
